BOOT CAMP FITNESS IN THE PARK
For Ages 15 Through Adult
Need a change of routine, or a workout to take you to the next level? Looking for a new, exciting way to get into great shape? Boot camp fitness is a "results driven" conditioning class conducted in an outdoor/indoor environment, utilizing a military-style format, coupled with the most progressive, innovative, and creative exercises in fitness. Boot camp workouts include: cardiovascular and strength training, speed and agility drills, partner resistance exercises, group challenges, obstacle courses, games, medicine ball drills, plyometrics, grass drills, and varying types of push-ups. The results are amazing! With a little bit of effort and commitment, you will see a toned, leaner body, increased strength, endurance, and self confidence, a new appreciation for working out, and maybe some new friends in fitness. "Boot camp" might sound intimidating, but this class focuses on determination, encouragement and you doing your own personal best. Workouts will be challenging, but fun with high energy and will vary each time. Workouts can be modified to fit any level, so beginners to advanced exercisers are welcome. Participants need to bring their own mat and two sets of weights - light and heavy based. Class will meet outdoors except during inclement weather, where it will move indoors at a nearby location.
